“Alexis Arguello:  El Flaco Explosivo” by Doc Stull in El Sol Bilingue, November, 2013

One of the greatest fighters of all time Nicaragua’s Alexis Arguello was beloved in the Americas for his class and courage in the ring as well as his love for his people.  His tragic end in 2009 was a great loss to his family, countrymen and the sports world who came to cherish, love and respect this “beloved warrior” for his courage in and out of the ring.
