A well-known Humboldt State University professor is taking early retirement to pursue his new teaching goals. Richard “Doc” Stull starts teaching English As a Second Language at the Garberville College of the Redwoods school next week. KMUD’s Terri Klemetson sat down with Doc Stull during a moment between classes at HSU to reflect on past adventures, his recent trip to Nicaragua his love of teaching…and future plans.
Doc’s Beginning English class is offered free through College of the Redwoods, Garberville campus, 286 Sprowl Creek Rd., beginning Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and every Monday and Wednesday thereafter through December 9, 2015.
