Wolf House Walk Tour, Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 1:00 at Jack London State Park, Glen Ellen, CA
Doc leads a walk from The House of Happy Walls Museum to the famous stone “Wolf House” designed and built by California writer Jack London that was supposed to stand for 1000 years but was destroyed by a ferocious fire more than a 100 years ago. The 1 hour and fifteen minute hike to the house and back includes a trip to Jack London’s gravesite and a trove of information about Jack’s extraordinary adventures and literary life that included 50 books and over 200 short stories.
The guided walk is included in your $10 vehicle fee for the park. The park includes over 20 miles of trails over 1400 acres in the heart of the wine country 15 miles east of Santa Rosa, CA.
