    ps: I was in the Bay Area recently and took the tour of Candlestick Park. Most of the people on the tour, and the guides as well, focus on the 49ers, but for me, it was all about the Giants. Finding the exact spot of home plate (just behind the end zone, toward the left). Looking out to the pitcher’s mound. Imagining the foul lines to left field and right. Scanning the dougouts for the ghost of Mays and Marichal. Walking the tunnel from the clubhouse to the dugout and imaining countless such treks before and after games.
